When you work with the Carolina HomeWright, you sign a contract with Graeme T. Black, General Contractor; and we commence a relationship where you have instant access to me from design to delivery. I believe that when you successfully delineate expectations and meet them, you build trust and interest. When you miss this opportunity to build the relationship from the beginning, you run the risk of creating problems down the road. Rather than trump the cliché that the customer is always right, I work toward a more tangible reality. I work to discover what my clients want, and then I craft a course to meet it. When I succeed at this goal, everybody is right. That is just the way we do things at The Carolina HomeWright.
Ideally what my clients and I will all realize in the end is a home building experience that matches their individual desires and expectations rather than the business needs and desires of the builder. I know many builders claim that they do this as business as usual, but I also know that in reality it is more often not the case.
